| RADIO UNIT As members of the Radio unit we ride with the various units in our parades and from these vantage points pass information on about the progress of the parade to the Colonel of Units. If you are an amateur radio operator and would like to join us just get in touch with any one of our members. If you are not licensed but would be interested in getting into the hobby, we can get information for you about classes in the local area since we are all members of the Fort Myers radio club. If you are a licensed amateur radio operator and would like to stay with your unit, you can still help us out at the parades. Just tune your 2 meter rig to 147.57 Mhz simplex and join in. We meet for a dinner and a meeting the 2nd Friday of each month at 6 p.m., usually at The Red Fez at Araba.
